BOKUNAN-DO is written as 木南堂, literally, Tree-South-House.
This name was from our shop owner, Mr. Kusunoki's family name Kanji , 楠.
He named his shop chop the letter 楠 into 木(BOKU, tree) and 南 (NAN, South).
The 堂 (DOU, house) is a house everyone gathered in.

The Flowring Kanji on the Gunpai(fan) reads BANKOSEIFU.
It means, - literally, tens of thousands of oldness and fresh breeze- "Respecting
tradition, and existing forever just like fresh breeze."
